Context
The situation and the problem
College students often study from resources scattered across PDFs, notes, messaging groups, videos and different websites.
SemGuru was created around a simpler idea: organise the learning journey around what a student needs for the current semester, subject and topic.
Approach
The decision behind the experience
Information architecture was the centre of the product. The system begins with academic context rather than asking students to navigate a generic collection of files.
That structure reduces the searching students have to do before they can start learning.
