Context
The situation and the problem
Sending money from the United States to India involves considerably more than entering an amount and pressing a button.
Customers need confidence in the USD-to-INR conversion, fees, recipient details, security, transfer status and the final amount the beneficiary will receive. DattaRemit needed to make that complexity understandable without making the product feel complicated.
Approach
The decision behind the experience
Fintech UX has to make risk, value and status legible. At each stage, the user should understand what they are sending, what happens next and where they are in the transaction lifecycle.
The engineering architecture separates the customer-facing experience from the underlying remittance workflows, giving the product room to evolve as transaction requirements grow.
