The situation and the problem

Sending money from the United States to India involves considerably more than entering an amount and pressing a button.

Customers need confidence in the USD-to-INR conversion, fees, recipient details, security, transfer status and the final amount the beneficiary will receive. DattaRemit needed to make that complexity understandable without making the product feel complicated.

The decision behind the experience

Fintech UX has to make risk, value and status legible. At each stage, the user should understand what they are sending, what happens next and where they are in the transaction lifecycle.

The engineering architecture separates the customer-facing experience from the underlying remittance workflows, giving the product room to evolve as transaction requirements grow.

What we designed and built

We worked across the product rather than stopping at the public-facing website.

The solution covered the frontend experience, backend workflows and overall remittance journey—from initiating a USD transfer and adding recipient information through transaction processing and final transfer state.

The system in practical terms

  • 01USD to INR transfer journey
  • 02Sender and recipient workflows
  • 03Transfer review and confirmation
  • 04Transaction-status experience
  • 05Trust-led product interface
  • 06Secure processing architecture

What changed after delivery

The project transformed a remittance concept into a complete digital-product experience rather than a transactional form.

It established the product foundation for a clearer, smoother US-to-India money-transfer journey.
